Planteater was born from a deep love of vegan food and a belief that what we eat should nourish both our bodies and our lives.


For the past nine years, I have embraced a vegan lifestyle, learning firsthand how powerful plant-based food can be when it comes to energy, wellbeing, and balance. That journey took on an even deeper meaning last year when my son was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. As a family, we made the decision to eliminate gluten, and once again I was reminded of the importance of listening to our bodies and trusting the signals they give us.


Through this experience, my connection to food became more intentional. I learnt that nourishing food doesn’t need to be restrictive or joyless — it can be comforting, flavourful, and deeply satisfying.


Planteater was created to prove exactly that: nutritious food can be both healthy and genuinely enjoyable. Every recipe is crafted with care, using thoughtfully chosen ingredients that support wellbeing without compromising on taste.


My passion for cooking, and for creating food that truly nourishes, has never been stronger. Planteater is more than just food, it’s a celebration of mindful eating, kindness to our bodies, and the simple pleasure of eating well.
