Planteater began with one simple belief, Gluten free and vegan treats should taste good.

Based in Tirau, New Zealand, Planteater is all about making plant based and gluten free baking that doesn’t play second best. Every slice and bar is handmade in small batches, focusing on flavour first, followed by rich textures and bold flavour combinations.

But what goes into them matters just as much.

I’m passionate about sourcing quality ingredients and creating treats that feel a little better for you, without taking away from the experience. Choosing plant-based baking is also part of a bigger picture for me, from being kinder to animals to making more conscious choices around the environment and climate.
